During this ongoing pandemic it is reassuring to know that the precautions that we are taking are working to keep our staff, our operations, and our communities safe.
We have mandated wearing masks since reopening, we complete daily health and temperature checks, we have elevated cleaning measures, we have implemented staffing rotations with no overlap, and as part of a good business strategy and employee development we have cross training on all positions to remain operational.
Cantilever Distillery + Hotel requires all guests and employees to wear facemasks inside our facility in all public spaces. Face coverings are also required in outdoor settings if social distancing cannot be observed.
Do you keep your mask on the whole time? Tug it to the side and take a bite? Do you ask for a straw so you can slip it under the mask and enjoy your drink? We’ve put together our own set of best practices around mask-wearing, here are some basic guidelines to follow to be a responsible citizen.
Our preferred mask-wearing etiquette is that when engaging with a member of our team placing your order or paying your bill that you please wear a mask.
We will be supplying masks at no charge to individuals who are not yet in the habit of wearing one.
We would like to thank our team for handling this situation with seriousness and professionalism and thank our guests who have the confidence in our actions that continue to support us.
Our motto to guide us through the foreseeable future is to “stay positive and remain negative.” We invite you to join us in being a positive influence in our communities during this time and to wear a mask, and practice social distancing to remain negative for the virus.
Let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

- Arrive wearing a mask ... or you will not be allowed to enter!
- When seated at your table, you may remove your mask.
- Remove your mask safely. Experts recommend handling the straps instead of grabbing the fabric that covers your face.
- Bring a bag for your mask. Do NOT place your mask on the table. A paper bag is ideal.
- Put your mask on before leaving.
